Need help QUICK!

My wife and daughter are traveling to Florida over spring break (leaving at midnight). I am mapping each states laws for them as they will be carrying. All is good but Florida, Handgunlaws.us says they do not have to inform LE when stopped but USAcarry.com says that you do have to. I checked Florida's CCW site and didn't find anything. Anybody know the answer or which site I should go with?

I think I heard FL just came on board with IN
And for what my memory is worth, You can have a hand gun in FL without a permit but you have to go threw 3 streps to retrieve it ?

Dont trust me or my memory ! but let me know If I'm atleast in the ballpark
