Need help with 12v electrical fluid

    I wouldn't worry too much about leaking electrical fluid, we deal with it almost daily at work. The real problems start when you let all of the smoke out of the wires!:n00b:

    Wires arn't so bad, they buckle and twist before the release the smoke,. IC's just pop and you can here the top of them bounce on the tile floor, along with an amazing amount of smoke from such a small pronged wonder.

    Checked on my boat after this rain yesterday and noted the cabin light was leaking electrical fluid. Not sure how that happened. When I removed the light cover all the electrical fluid spilled out. I looked everywhere and could not find a fill line indicator. Also had no luck finding marine-grade electrical fluid for a 12v system

    any help appreciated :ingo:




    You should to be able to get by with White Mineral Oils on the electrical systems. DO NOT overfill.
