I switched my PPS-43 over to 9mm from 7.62x25 and I think I need some hotter ammo to fully eject the empty cases.
The empty cases are getting caught by the bolt feeding the next rd. into the barrel.
Sometimes she will run most of a mag but most times not.
Anybody know of source for reasonably priced ammo with a little stronger recoil impulse than 115 gr. WW white box or Wolf
I have not found the 124 gr. white box or Wolf to try.
    Thanks

+1 for Underwood Ammo. It's what I carry in my EDC (10mm Glock) and my occasional 40cal XD. They make some of (if not the) most powerful rounds you'll find and cheaper than the other popular personal defense rounds.

Underwood is also my G20 carry ammo. A little more practice and it may well replace the Cor Bon or Gold Dots in my G19.

If you aren't afraid of corrosive ammo Samco has Pakistani 9mm loaded hot for sub gun use for .20/round. I have no idea if it's hangfire prone or not, but I'm sure the primers are hard.

Do you belong to the weaponsguild.com forum? There is a special sub forum for the PPS43. And there is some info on the 9mm conversion. You might find some insight on there. There maybe a simpler fix other then buying expensive ammo.

I have a couple PPS43 kits to build. I will be doing those in 9mm.

Check out Gander Mountain and maybe Walmart. Winchester has some new white box ammo. Its labeled "9mm NATO".

I recall seeing warnings about this ammo on FB because its surplus, and tends to border on "+P" power ammo. The warning was "shooting this ammo may decrease the life of your pistol" pointing out it may run hotter than typical civilian commercial ammo.

Sounds like it might be right up your alley.

I have a case of the Paki 9mm, corrosive primers but it is fairly hot. Bought a few years back when it was really cheap. If you are in the north central Indiana area I would donate a box for you to try.

Federal 9BPLE is pretty hot stuff, if it doesnt do it for you, then its time to start looking for some of that sub-gun ammo you hear about from time to time.

Well I tried the Win. NATO ammo and it still needs a little more.
It did funtion better , about 75% reliable. So I will need to keep trying.
