I thought it was a simple matter to tap out the old sight and tap in the new. I bought a set of Mepro sights thinking it was an easy swap. Had I known, I’d have bought them from a shop that could have installed them for me.
Anybody have the tool willing to make the change for me?
    Brownsburg/West Indy area.

    Thanks, Matt

Use a brass punch and dont be afraid to whack it. Dont hit the sight where the tritium tubes are, whack it in the channel. Use some light oil on the sight and in the groove.
Sights need to come out on the ejection side of the gun and go back in from that side too

Im just south of mooresville on 67 and will be in the shop this afternoon between 12-4. Stop by and I will do the swap for you, show you how, or you can use my vise/tools and do it yourself. I am working on building a sight pusher, but just don’t have it done. The old style sight pusher (hammer and punch) will work just fine.
