Need Old Knife (it was my father's) wk'd on (Pics Added)

Hey,

I have an on Henley & Co Soligen Germany Stag Handle Knifew that was my Dad's that needs some work on it. I know it's not valuable $ wise, but it's important to me.

It needs the end cap tigthen (spins, Needs polished our (Steel & Brass) & need re-profiled and sharpened.

Any buddy in the Indy are that does this type work???

He's not in the Indy area, but I know that Cubby (resident knife guru & knifemaker) might be able to help you out. You'd have to ask him of course, but if he can't tackle it I'll be willing to bet he might be able to point you in the right direction.

thanks, daniel! but i dont work on the stacked/capped handle knives for one reason: i don't know anything about them. i know how they are done, but have never made one. on principle, i don't do work on something i couldn't duplicate.... so i am limitied to working on rusty spoons!!! bwahahahaha!!!

pics would be a huge plus, though!
