Need to bore out an A2 flash hider

Does anyone know where I could get an A2 flash hider bored out to 3/8" (9.5mm) in Indianapolis? Any local gun shops have a drill press?

I'd say probably most gunsmiths would have the means to do this. I don't know much about your area so I can't help you there. Surely someone on here would know where to start looking.

Sure, I am wanting to put it on a 9mm carbine and it has to be atleast 9.5mm which is 3/8"

I saw these, but I just figured it would be easier to just bore out one I had already for an AR. I found someone with a drill press so if I fudge it up this will be my plan B, thanks!

find an engine lathe . you can hold it better and drill it truer

Have you checked to make sure it threads on your 9mm? I thought the 5.56 and 9mm flash hiders were threaded differently to prevent someone from putting a 5.56 on a 9mm.

9mm should be 1/2x36

no not all 9mm are 1/2 36 just the colt bbs I've seen most the aftermarket bbls are 1/2 28

I'm in seymour if your ever down this way bring one I can bore it for you
