I have had to deal with tremor most my life.
I now take primidone regularly and occasionally proprananol when I need fine control (like soldering).
Because I keep the meds to a minimum, I still have a small tremor.
Heavy guns reduce the effect somewhat. Not enough energy in the tremor.
    Rifles even better.

    Lorazepam can work real well.
Along with more serious side effects.
    I suffered extreme tiredness.
Lorazepam is highly regulated, so the prescription is for a shorter time, and you can only get a 30 day supply at a time.

During a drill as Reactor Operator (Submarine), this was the line I used when ChEng (Chief Engineer) asked to see how bad my tremor was.

Chemical fixes are for the weak. I drink beer because I like it not because I am trying to fix something. Two different things in my world.

That's exactly what a person who drinks to fix something would say.

    .
Interesting thread. I've got old age tremors, more in my left than in my right, although I do shoot single action with both. Never have tried anything for it, just sort of average it out.

You are not paranoid just because you think little green men are trying to chop your nuts off with a machete. If they are really trying to do it. I drink beer because I like to do it. I can quit any time I want to.

Collin normally starts a shooting day off with a half gallon of coffee, then a 5 hour energy drink and a two pack of monster energy drinks to chase the 5 hour drink. He's good to go for about 6 hrs of shooting.

As long as he keeps his finger off the trigger when it doesn't need to be there... :n00b:

    Chemicals are for the weak.

    Maybe.

Maybe I'm tired of getting electrical shocks at work when my hand or screwdriver goes off target.
Or maybe I want to know that I'm pulling the trigger, that it's not the tremor pulling the tremor.

(this is not me, but this is what I go through)
