Slow Hand bought one of the Dick's "Black Friday Special" guns last year and brought it in for me to look at. IIRC, it didn't have the Alpha rail with integrated front sight, and the barrel profile was different than what we've got on the wall right now.

I haven't shot one of these carbines, but it's Troy, and they don't do half-assed. I personally don't care for the ergonomics of their pistol grip and stock, but neither of those are functional issues.
