As has been said, the young officer is wrong. I'm hoping he's young.

We picked up a new Tahoe friday night. It is wearing the plates off of the Traverse it replaced, in accordance with the law. I'm betting Ray Skillman sold more vehicles today, than all the tickets this officer has written in his short career.

He's going to get embarrassed by the judge in court.

Going to court on this one, never done that before.

I mailed the ticket in. What should I expect? Will they mail me back a date, or do I need to call?

What should I expect when I get there?

I went to court on the appointed day written on the ticket once. When I arrived the judge read the charges and asked "Guilty or not guilty", I replied not guilty. He smacked his hammer on the gavel and said to return on such and such date for the trial.:xmad: Had to ask all of the witness' to take another day off so they could back up the truth and get me out of the ticket. Fortunately they did.

Sounds like they do it a little different in Indiana.
