New carry law?

Forgive me if this is a dupe, but I didn't see it anywhere. I just heard through the grapevine that our new Sen. Tomes is introducing a bill to get rid of the need to have a CCW license in order to carry a handgun to the range for practice, or any other legal place. Has anyone heard about this? Any more info?
