I just had to share for the ESEE fans.

I have a Buddy that is into woodworking and he had some Cocobolo scraps and offered to make me a set of grips for the H.E.S.T.

From the time it took from cutting to install on the knife it only took him about an hour. It was his first attempt at making a set of grips. We just went with the same profile as the standard ESEE grips but they are thicker.

The wood is just sanded and no other finish has been applied. For a first attempt I think they came out awesome.

That coco looks nice. Tight grain and awesome figure! Some cocobolo's need stabilized but it depends on oil content of the wood...

I wish I could find some grips for my Esee that has the HEST logo on it. I like the skull and hat. Those wood grips make it have a touch of class.
