I collect military history arms. My favorite rifle is the Lee Enfield mark3. Mostly into long rifles but recently replica Civil War black powder, revolver’s have peaked my interest. I’m young man at 33 very much into the history of fire arms of the first world war.
Welcome from Lafayette.
I acquired a Lithgow Enfield made in 1943.
It appears that it was never issued. It looks as close to new as one could expect.
On the other hand, I have a type 99 Arisaka in 7.7 Jap and this thing looks like it's been through 3 world wars.
It's beat all to hell, but has a shiny bore, the anti-aircraft sights are there, with the wings, and I have an INTACT mum!
