New From N.W Indiana

Hey guys & gals,

Im new to the gun forums. I just got my LTCH and im on the prowl for a nice compact for carry. Im moving to Michigan in january for school. I will be on my own and im looking for some personal protection. Im new to this forum, but if anyone knows of any good gun shops in the area please let me know.

I've been browsing on the forum for a few hours so far. Tons and tons of very useful information. Its nice to break away from the car forums for a little while hahaha....

Drive to Midwest Gun Exchange. It'll be worth the drive from NWI. I promise you. They have a range as well so you might be able to test out that M&P 40c before you buy it.

You could go to Blythes in Griffith or Valpo and take a look around. In my opinion they are kinda overpriced on most things there so I would just go there to check some guns out. Also, Cabelas has a pretty good selection of handguns, but again they are usually a little on the expensive side. Check out the Glock 27 and 23 in .40 or the 26 and 19 in 9mm.

Hey magicman, thanks alot for the info. Im going to go check out both places during the week. Im going to try out the glock, but I am pretty set on the MP40c. Any Shooting days comming up where members meet up from here?
