Hi everyone
My name is Jennifer, I have NO experience with guns. My sister's boyfriend invited me to the shooting range with them the next time they go. I'm excited and a little nervous. I'm also thinking about getting my permit when I turn 21, but I'm not sure I could carry a gun.

So, is there any shooting tips that I can use so I don't look totally clueless when we go?

You should read the INGO FAQ! Also, you can get your License To Carry a Handgun (LTCH) at 18. You don't need to wait until you're 21.

I am always happy to see more and more females getting into firearms.

As far as tips, just use common sense and follow basic safety precautions and you should do great!

1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.


2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.


3. ALWAYS treat the gun as if it were loaded.
