Hi everybody,
Bought my first handgun last Saturday after my beginner's class, have my lifetime carry license, and found this site while trying to get educated on the proper carrying rules and etiquette.
After talking to the sales guys for a while, I ended up buying a 4th gen Glock 23. From what everyone was saying, Glock is dependable and accurate so I thought it would be a good starter gun. The general opinion I got was that many preferred other types of firearms but I am going to use this one to get comfortable and learn the ropes.
Going to the range in Elkhart, IN Thursday to put a couple hundred rounds through it. Carried for the first time yesterday and it felt pretty good
I'll be seeing you guys around and thanks for the welcome.
