I just started shooting back in October, but I've only now gotten around to joining up here. (From what I've seen, it's my loss not to have joined sooner — looks like a great forum!)

So, new guy checking in with his first post. Howdy.

    Yep, you guessed it. :D

I knew it! The S/N had me thinking, then I saw your name in your profile...awesome to have you here. This has become my home away from the 'tex. Lots of good info and discussion.

I need to get some more rounds and go shooting again, that was a good time!

BTW did the wife get her mag issues straightened out?

Kahr was great — I called 'em Monday morning, said her mag follower broke, and they mailed one right out. Got it yesterday, I think — and Kahr mags are slightly easier to dis-/re-assemble than Glocks. Piece of cake. Now, to buy her a spare mag....

I'm southside, too (as is ezdubbin97).

Also, mgderf, thanks for the PM — though I can't respond until 6 more posts after this. My son isn't quite 2 yet, so it'll be a few years before I get him started shooting.

But since I didn't grow up with guns, I'm curious — for those of you who did, what age did your folks introduce you, and how? And for the parents now, what age were your kids (or will they be) before they get their first single-shot rimfire?
