New guy here. Just turned 18 and bought my first gun a Nagant 91/30. Been shooting since I was 10 years old and live in the South Bend/ Mishawaka area. Would love to buy a revolver but I have no clue If I can or not. This looks like a great site and I'm sure I'll learn alot!

Here's your first two facts:

A "Nagant" is different from a "Mosin Nagant" (which is what your 91/30 is), and yes, you can buy a handgun at 18, you just can't buy it from a dealer. You have to buy it in a face-to-face transaction from a private individual (which is completely legal - see the INGO FAQ for more info).

Get your license to carry first,makes things alot eaiser when buying a handgun,most people wont sell to you if you dont have one.
