New here, new to guns...

Whats up guys. I'm Brian from Terre Haute...

Never been much into guns, but after having the house broken into yesterday, it looks like it might be a new found hobby

Looking into getting a couple guns for now, one for the house, and one to carry. I'll be doing what I can to get my permit, etc. and doing a lot of reading to learn what I can.

Looks like a pretty kickass site.

Training is! Its easy in your situation to go out, buy a few pistols, stash them around the place, and then "feel" safe again. But its the knowing how to use them that makes the difference! I think you'll find lots of answers to the questions swimming around inside your head right now. I'm glad no one was hurt in the incident yesterday.

If you ever need to go "hands on" with several different types of guns, I'm sure the membership here can help you out. Just ask.

LOL.. I dont really "race" cars, just modify mine as a hobby.

Actually... I've already ran across 3 other people I'm familiar with from the car scene.

I've been around and shot a few guns, I'm not THAT new to them, just never looked into getting my own. My dad has a couple shotguns and pistols I shot growing up, but he passed away when I was 15 and got rid of them before anything happened to him.
