I grew up in a small town in northern Indiana and now live outside of Chicago - looking forward to engaging with you all on gun topics and perhaps pick up one or two (or three or .....). I'm a Navy Submarine Warfare officer and drilling reservist just getting into the hobby with focus on pistols - happy shooting!

I used to live in Hinckley with an army buddy of mine.
Did a semester at Waubonsee in Sugar Grove. Spent many an evening at Shabbona Lake walking the dogs. All told I'm glad I got out of IL, but not because of the scenery or the people, but the tax man and law makers can pound sand.
