You guys nailed it. Qhe n i saw the article, I thought the same thing. It's very quirky, a pump shotgun with a magazine.

I didn't comment any further because I was trying to keep an open mind. Thought maybe I was missing some need this would meet out in the field. Looks like a solution looking for a problem.

Not something I would run out and trade my old 870 for...

I get the faster reload part, but with some of the extended magazine tubes on the market today I don't see the advantage. I guess it might be an advantage for a waterfowl hunter following the three rounds in the gun law though

I will stick with my 90s manufactured 870s.

A solution to the problem you don't have.

Right now I'm a skeptic don't come close to liking the looks at all.
An extended magazine tube will accomplish the same thing without the bulky mags. Sure the mags will reduce reload time. It's the only upside I see.

Nope.....and the magwell looks like a complete afterthought that was screwed to the side of the receiver. Looks like garbage.

Remington....I still run some of their ammo but only because I had so damn much of it. No new guns from them.

I molested an R1 Loaded the other day that was put together near flawless. Great fit, smooth and slick.
FCG was excellent. Almost zero creep and light/smooth break. .
I had to do a "triple take" to make sure of the name.
