After owning a Ruger LCP II in 380 for almost a year now I decided it was time to try the 22lr version. Fired a few rounds to get the feel of firing it and then tried a few targets to get an idea of the accuracy potential. I was using CCI Mini Mag and shooting from a standing position at 7 and 15 yards. The group size at 15 yards I was satisfied with despite shots going right of center. The trigger on the LCP II is really stiff compared to the my 380 version. I was expecting it to be about the same.
Don't think the little LCP II is going to out shoot my 1971 PPK/S 22lr but for what it is , a tiny lightweight pistol with minimal sights and a stiff trigger it seems like it will still be a fun close range 22.
