New to handgun ownership (Beretta PX4 Storm .40 S&W). Also new to INGO. Looking for guidance and advice from those more experienced than myself. Will be pursuing a path to become well educated and well trained in the use of a handgun for home protection. Just received my LTCH (exactly 5 month wait). Did not purchase the weapon with the intent to carry, but might somewhere down the road as training and comfort level increases.

Welcome to INGO! Sounds like you are taking the right path. Watching a bunch of movie shootouts doesn't make for a good education on how and when to use firearms. There are some excellent trainers here in Central Indiana that you can find in the training forum. Also, there are a lot of good discussions and videos there. Have you been out to the range and had an intro yet?
