I have had excellent luck with IMR 4895 (or H-4895), less so with Win 748, BL-C2, and benchmark. My rifle has the old 1 in 14 twist, so I go no heavier than Nosler 55 grain Ballistic Tips. Start with 25 grains of IMR 4895 and the 55 Nosler in your 223, and see if you can work up to 25.5 grains, great in 3 differen 223's I have. Data from Nosler#7, Speer #14, and Hornady.

Depends on bullet weight just like every cartridge. For light bullets 748 and H335. For heavier bullets Reloader 15 Varget and N140 are virtually identical.

Light is 55 or less. Heavy is 62 to 80.

There are other powder. choices too. They are in reloading manuals. One of the 4895's is a good choice too.

    There is no one answer.
