New Tom Hanks WWII HBO Mini Series

I did not see this posted anywhere else.

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are doing another WWII HBO mini series to go along with Band of Brothers and The Pacific. This series will be based on the US air campaign against Germany. I can not wait for this one, the other two are fantastic. To be honest Band of Brothers is my all time favorite movie/mini series, a true masterpiece.

I received BoB as a christmas gift 3 years ago and have sat thru start to finish 4 times and watched it several more times a little at a time. I've only watched "The Pacific" thru once. Can't wait for the next once since I'm a warbird fan!

Could this be the third of four in a series highlight our armed forces during WWII.

BoB was about the Army in Europe
TP was about the Marines in the Pacific
The unnamed as of yet is about the Air Force

It only makes sense that a fourth in the series be dedicated to the US Navy's
battles in the Pacific against the Japanese Imperial Navy.

There wasn't an Air Force in WWII. It was the Army Air Corp. But, I do think you are onto something there.

I sure hope so! I've enjoyed BoB and TP and am really pumped about this one about the Army Air Corp!


I wonder if there will be a #5 about the Cost Guard and Coastal Defense of the US?
