New Toy!

Just wanted to show off my new SR1911CMD. Picked it up from ERG in Lafayette a few weeks ago and have taken it to the range now twice. It is my first 1911 and my first .45. So far so good. I am pretty happy with my purchase and now understand why people like the Ruger 1911's so much. I plan on getting a hybrid holster for it so I can carry it every now and then when I don't feel like carrying the sr9c.

Thanks all. Plan on doing some shooting this weekend. I also ordered a Remora Holster to try. My dad loves his, I just can't get over the fact that it doesn't have a clip. Will try it and see if I like it. If I don't it will be up for sale.
