I have owned the wicked edge pro II for about two years or so. I love mine. In all honesty it took me a little getting used to, but it works great. There are a ton of knife sharpeners and sharpening systems available, but this is the best I have used. I still have my wet stones and my ceramics and all and I still use them occasionally for really quick stuff. But I wouldnt get rid of the W.E.
I can make a knife hair popping sharp on my belt grinder, but it is easier for me...to get a precise angle on the edge with the W.E.
The best part about the one I own is that it is already paid for. Looking back, the cost was a huge obstacle. I'm not sure if the price is worth it for the average guy, but as a knife maker who has sent knives all around the country...it has proven to be a worth while investment.

And that's jut it. You could easily offset the cost by sharpening for others. $5-10 per knife adds up quick.
