    .45 has more stopping power, and it gives you a wide range of options (1911, XDs, etc.). IMO, .40 is expensive and isn't enough different from 9mm to justify the added cost.

    A Ruger Blackhawk convertible in 357/9mm is on my list. Why? Because I think long barrel revolvers are fun to shoot.
