So thanks to a special lady in my life, I have taken the step of getting an NFA Trust (drafted by a well known NFA lawyer in my state, also a 07/02 but meh), and am starting to transfer everything over to it. The problem is that im a bit confused as to just what to mail in. I know I need the form 4's (and a few 1st for new toys), the checks, and a complete and execute copy of my trust.

The confusion arises in what else to mail. Some places say to mail your schedule-A, others an inventory sheet, both, and a few others say nothing more than the basic trust itself.

So to those of you who have trusts... what did you do?

Seems like it would be easier to just always include all trust related documentation, including any attached schedules. I don't see much harm in sending more than they need.

Also, as I'm sure you know the trust cannot have possession of an NFA item until it's transfer is approved, so make you don't list them when sending the Schedule A.
