Well i got a pretty awesome birthday present from my fiance today...In the form of a new revolver. A ruger sp101 in 357 mag with the 3in barrel. I'm going to be having a custom venom concealment solutions holster made for it here soon as well.

Nice Gun. I have one with the shorter 2 1/4 inch barrel. It's been my Daily Carry Gun for several years. Very comfortable and Reliable. Thinking of getting something with a bit more capacity for my Daily Carry. Not sure what yet.
Anyway, the Ruger SP101 is a solid piece and will serve you well. It does flip a bit with HOT .357 loads. I am using 145 grain Silvertip Hollowpoints. They shoot well and accurate even with a 2 1/4 inch barrel.
