    Very interesting points made here. Seems like most of the commentary refers to tritium sights. Sorry if this question was already asked, but for those who don't see much value in tritium sights, would red dots or lasers offer any advantages over tritium sights in low light situations, or basically the same issues?

    I ask because when I commute to my Chicago office, the portion of my commute in Indiana is through a high crime area, and is often at night or early morning when it's still dark. I've often thought that my red dot / reflex sight would offer faster target acquisition on streets at night with typical street lighting than tritium night sights.
