9th Circuit Court of Appeals Says No Right to Concealed Gun Carry - NBC News

Here we do again, California.. If I read it correctly, it doesn't even address the issue of owning or openly carrying. It's very specific to Concealed Carry. Any house lawyers following the case? Does this go to a higher court now?

It can, and probably will, go higher. Of course, the supreme court as it is now will never rule that we have a right to carry a gun (or for that matter own, touch, look at, or draw pictures of such).

Just as long as he keeps judges born in America to parents who had the gall to legally emigrate here and become citizens off the courts, I'll be happy.

I don't need anyone or any government to tell me what rights I have and which I don't. It is we who tell government which rights they have, and not the other way around.

Just like that. How cocky do you feel about the future of your gun rights, now?

Some here thought the 2A was running the table with victories the last several years. But the 1980s and 90s can be back upon us again in the blink of an eye. As we see.

Next up: AW ban. Just a matter of time. It never stops.

    Sigh... yes, me too.

If the day comes (assuming he gets elected) that Trump jaw bones congress into passing something like repeal of the Hughes Amendment or removal of silencers and SBRs from NFA, I will proudly renounce all of my criticisms of him (assuming all other actions on other issues are relatively similar) and gladly accept all the "I told you so's" from all of the INGO Trumpsters. If he were to champion total repeal of NFA, even if it fails, the same thing.

Heck, even if 50 + 1% of his court nominees are no worse than John Roberts, I'll take a bite or two of crow.

I don't think I'll have to do any of that though.

The woman who's husband was behind the last national AWB could very well be our next president. It is a very scary proposition.

I believe Hitlery has stated previously that she likes many of the things California has accomplished and would like to go nationally with many of their policies.

I don't get this, at all. It's RIGHT THERE!

"The Right of the People, to Keep and BEAR Arms..."

Yup. It is right there. No provisions, no qualifiers, no conditions. For anyone capable of reading at a remedial level this should not be open for discussion. What other right is there that is clearly laid out in the Constitution that also causes these issues with the ordinary meaning of the words?
