Ignores the point that those States that the guns originated in don't see to have the problem.
Criminals tend to be lazy. Why don't they move to the states with looser gun restrictions and commit their crimes there?

They also fail to ask the question, if guns don't stop at state boundaries, why do people think they will stop at national boundaries?

I believe the ones suggesting we get rid of our guns are also in favor of open borders and non enforcement of immigration law. Not only does our current border situation not prevent an illicit importation of weapons, under their plan, the border would be completely unguarded.

One of their charts was based on "data" from bloomberg's group "everytown". 'Nuff said

Not really. They ranked reach state based on how strict or loose the gun laws are in each state. To do this, they used rankings from two different groups (Cato Institute and Everytown) and averaged them together.

We then measured the difference in gun laws between states to identify which ones have looser gun laws than their neighbors. To do this, we created a gun law ranking for each state by averaging the ranking of the Cato Institute (a gun rights supporter) and Everytown (a gun control supporter).6 Each state was given an average ranking of between 1 (least strict) and 50 (most strict) and compared to its neighbor to establish a net ranking between the two.

The data that was actually analysed came from the ATF.
