Illegal hunting (poaching) in KY does not fly kids!

A Salisbury, NC resident has been banned from hunting anywhere in the world for two years as part of an agreement with federal authorities in Kentucky on charges that he illegally hunted in and took wildlife from that state.

He also agreed to pay the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources $5,300 in restitution, and $50 in special penalty assessments.

So he couldn't pay to hunt in Africa? Even though it would be outside the jurisdiction on the U.S? Sounds goofy as all get out.
He would be in violation of his probation. I'm sure Africa (or whatever actual country he went to) wouldn't mind, but coming home afterwards might be an issue.

Kinda like a "no pot" rule on your probation, and then you go somewhere where pot is legal, and then come back home. You still violated your probation.
