I have to check if my buddy is having the annual birthday bash for the goddaughter. She's in high school now, so things may change.

Might have to make my way up north since some of y'all manage to venture down here to Proteq.

I see there is also fishing nearby. Anyone know if Kayaks are allowed on the ponds? (I know I'll have to carry it in. Got a dolly for that)

I had to laugh. They mention that for information on fishing to hit the "where to fish in IN" app. But if you type in Winamac FWA it has no idea the ponds exist and only list river fishing spots around town. Your tax dollars in action. :):

Could be the difference between public and private waters?
The Tippy runs right thru there. The place is in the middle of a bunch of water, old swamp land. Most ponds want private permission. But some public lakes, but this time o year lot o tourist at those spots.

Now the Tippy is good there, try live minnows/bait, light weight, and slow crawl thru the deep holes. Best o luck.

I just found it odd that state property that tells you to use the state site dedicated to giving fishermen info, doesnt actually list the ponds the property website said it would. :):
Website: "For info on our ponds, see the 'where to fish' site."
Where to fish website: "Ponds? what ponds?"

But hey, its the state. Cant say I'm totally surprised.

Must be the CO's keeping their honey holes secret.

    Here's the official property map.
    Winamac FWA Map (PDF)

Seems to indicate 2 ponds just south of the main building/parking area:
    Google Maps

Though, I agree... most of the other properties' maps are much more prominent on their DNR pages.

It was just me and a DNR guy and he said fishing in the ponds isn't very good. True or not is the question.
