    i've been on the link to the registration page for this event, and am i blind or is there no start time listed? i;m going to go and its about an hour away, want to leave in plenty of time.

    I'm also interested in shooting at this event. But, I need to know the start time also. I don't want to register and if it's not possible for me to shoot, then try to request a refund.

    I'm signed up and had the same question about the start time. E-mailed Jeff and this was his response: "Shooters meeting 9:45, shots fired 10:00". See ya there.

    There will be a Ruger 22/45 and a 10/22 as well as 2 Volquartsen Custom TG2000 10/22 triggers ($260 retail each !) on the prize table as well as other swag. One chance per shooter.

    WHAT?? I just got done installing a lightning rod on my 10/22
    Did you ground it to your belt???

    Everything I've seen/read is that steel structures IF THEY'RE WELL GROUNDED are one of the best places to be during a lightning strike. Hit probability is no greater and any strike or near strike has an easy path into the ground. Actually better than a wood structure. Just don't be touching the steel...
