Got some carryout corned beef and cabbage dinners from Danny Z's on the way home from work. They weren't too bad.

We tried the Costco prepackaged one. Didn't appear too salty, but my possible swollen fingers tomorrow may tell a different story. I like corned beef a couple times a year. I get burned out real fast on things some times.

I didn't like corned beef growing up.
But the stuff from my American Legion Post, I get 2 sandwiches a year from them.


As for cabbage....

First vaccine shot down! I wound up running into one of my friends inadvertently (she’s a teacher) and another old friend, who is 45. The people behind me were talking about which schools they taught out.

Meijer‘s did a wonderful job with the whole process. Excellent social distancing markers, the line moved fast, and processing my insurance card was smooth. Major props to Meijer’s!

We went to Franciscan Crown Point (St Anthony) for my mom's, and it went very smoothly. That's where I'm registered also. Getting my first one in a week.
