Well I had a one hour interview today at 10am. Got done with it at 2:30. What a ****ing grueling interview. I started the interview with the manager. Then after an hour and 5 minutes, he gave me to the engineering manager for 45 minutes. Then he gave me to the team for a panel interview for 30 minutes. Followed that with a 40 minute character test with HR. Then the rest of the time I had a convo and test with the CEO...
Had a job offer by the time I got home. It is the max salary they offered, but ridiculously low for the work. 35k less than my last job but slightly better benefits, but still no 401k. Might as well be a contractor...
I want to counter offer them, but I know they would not give me what I want. I think that I can get 5k, maybe 10k more out of them. But even then I would be gone 2 weeks after I got a better offer. It is more than I am making on unemployment.
