Why pass a bill for confiscation when you can just make the gun owners criminals?

The Bill would mandate $1million at least in liability insurance for an owner of any gun. Estimated cost for the policy would be $1600-$2000 annually. It also says that if you're gun is stolen and used in a crime before you report the gun stolen, you can face charges.

These bills just keep getting more ridiculous.

    Somewhere over the rainbow
How about each elected official has to purchase liability insurance in the amount of the annual operating budget of the unit he/she will serve in?

Except what insurer would be crazy enough to issue such policies?

We know 99% of gun owners will do no harm. Cannot say that about the jackwagons in government.

This is just another ruse to try and make firearm ownership cost prohibitive. Nothing more.
