Ok, i am going to throw a hocky puck at them to distract them. Yep it will it will now make me a target to shoot at. Like those who open carry, you are telling these shooters to shoot you first, since i'm the threat against you.

Rather than just throw them, you better carry a stick around, too. Don't be a guy who just says, "Yeah, I have a puck and will be able to use it when the time comes!" OWNING A PUCK WITHOUT TRAINING IS FOOLISH!!! YOU WILL BE HURT OR IT WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!

I was having a dinner date with my 13yo daughter a few months ago. She asked me why I always sit facing the door. After telling her my responsibilities as a Dad and my job protecting my family we started talking about school safety. She told me what her school as told her and I told her WHAT I WANTED HER TO DO. I told her to talk to her friends. I said throw as much stuff at the shooter that you all can get your hand on. A well trained LEO or soldier would not be bothered by this I would think, but a idiot wielding a pistol or rifle hell bent on shooting would more than likely loose their train of thought and may even drop the weapon. I think if you can't have a pistol in the classroom to protect you and your students by all means use whatever they are willing to let you have. -Jason

After one of the shootings years back, someone suggested that each classroom gets a bucket of river rocks.
Now we have evolved to hockey pucks.

At this rate it will take 50+ years before they suggest using a gun to protect our kids.



Have any of the shooting victims parents sued the schools for NOT protecting their kids yet?
