OAL vs Lee factory crimp die

How critical is OAL when crimping with the FCP die?

Would I be able to come up with decent performance and consistency using a batch of similar brass that has been shot the same number of times since trimmed?

Yes you are correct. I always Factory Crimp if Possible. Just because I always get factory crimp dies when I get kits.
