I loaded a few 62 grain bullets into some .223 cases last night. The Lee reloading book doesn't list Varget powder for a 62 grain bullet, but it does for 63 grain. I read somewhere if the powder wasn't listed for 62 grain, using the 63 grain scale would be ok. So I used the 63 grain scale and the minimum OAL of 2.200. I took another look tonight and the minimum OAL listed in the Lee book for 62 grain bullets is 2.250. The rounds I have are at 2.243-2.247.
Which OAL should I have used?
