If they would cut spending to pay for them then I don't have a big issue with about 3/4 of the proposals. However, anything involving Eric Holder is a major red flag as he should be wearing an orange jump suit by now.

I actually don't have a problem with the 23 things listed. Actually I think those are some very good ideas that have alot better chance of working than blanket bans

the doctors asking about guns just doesn't seem right to me it could be used negatively down the road. If it involves mental health thats one thing but asking me on my yearly checkup is completely different

also the full background checks on seized guns. Would that mean when a cop pulls you over and sees that you carry sometimes they will take the gun back to their car and run the serial to see if its stolen. Will that now turn into a full background check?

If a doctor asks you if you own guns you say NO, the ONLY reason they ask that is because doctors have ALL of your information that goes into a database along with insurance information, and then the gov't knows you own a gun. DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING

Every doctor I have been to and have brought my grand kids to have been asking the questions do you have guns in your home, and if you say yes they ask if they are properly stored...I did not want to answer this question, but I did not want to lie in front of my grand kids.

I don't like any of these....in theory they might work...in real life they will get your guns taken away. And all this stuff make government bigger....billions will be spent.

All I see are several hidden agendas giving birth in the verbage used. A lot of first steps towards something bigger seem to be hidden in some of these items. I am not against government or authority but I see some of these items to be a bit alarming.

I agree with some of this. Some set the stage for "closing the gun show loophole", others mandatory safe or gun lock/ e-locks.

But for the most part, this looks like 'Seriously. Comply with and enforce the current laws."

Could have been many, many times worse.
