It's official! The WWII shoot will take place on Saturday, June 6th at the Riley Conservation Club. We will have the range from 0800 untill dark or we run out of ammo, with shooting to begin at 1000. There will also be a pitch-in wenier roast style lunch at the range. There is a small fee for the rental of the range which should run about $10 a person.

A special thanks to obijohn for answering my questions and helping to steer this thing in the right direction.

Also if you know a WWII vet that likes to shoot please bring them. We lose more and more of these great Americans every day, and this will be a good chance to share there experiences.

RSVP here and I will add you to the attendees list!

Excellent!!!!!! I can't believe how close this is going to be!

Though I wish I had my M1 by then, it probably wont happen.

Ill bring 2 Mosin Nagants (M44, ex-sniper M91/30), and at least one 1911.

Directions to the range can be found at www.wvpps com.
I have a prior commitment or I would be there. It is too bad because I would bring my grandfather who was shot twice on Iwo Jima. He is not a shooter but he would probably have ventured out.

I'll be there. Probably won't shoot much as i'll be acting as RSO for the event. we are trying to get the board to allow full auto, won't know until the end of the week, but pretty much any pistol or rifle caliber will be ok.

Tom Hildebrand, ACT medical director, will be there. I'm trying to get our survival guy, Granger Wilkins, to attend.

looking forward to meeting more INGO'ers!!!

Wow, That is a bit of a haul, especially with a car loaded with expensive weapons. I will have to see closer to the date.

If anyone would want a ride out to the shoot, depending on what you're bringing, I can get at least one more person in my truck. I'm in Brownsburg so if you're interested just let me know.

The question has come up about full auto for this event. Club rules prohibit full auto fire. I asked tonight at the board meeting. The answer was no before I got the words all the way out. So semi-auto only for this event. Sorry folks I tried, and failed.

June's looking to be a busy month. Be sure to add it to the INGO calendar (there's a big red CALENDAR link at the top of the page) so we don't start adding too many events all at once. :D
