My first Henry was a 22 lever youth for my grandson when he turned five. It was a little too long for him so i got put away for awhile. His brother turned five about 16 months later so I bought him a Henry Mini Bolt youth rifle. Six months later I had to get me the Henry Big Boy 357. All of them are great shooters.

The Mini Bolt has been shot by both boys. It is a great rifle for kids.

Where ever my GPS says I am
Been to the range many times with it. I love it. Today while leaving I bought some cheap scope rings since I had a scope that came with the 10/22 I bought years ago. i also shot my 9mm handgun for the first time in weeks at 12’. the Henry was the six circle target, circle 1 was 18’, then 20’ for circle 2, 3 & 4 was 22’ and them 24’ and 26’. Scope is easily removed for shooting with iron sites.

Awesome! I can't wait to pick one up. Right now I'm debating between the Golden boy 22 or the Evil Roy.

That is a tough choice! I’m not really sure you can pick one over the other if you like both. Get both of them I guess? :D

I do love my Golden Boy though, but I like the brass more than the silver.

I had a .357 but it was way too slow to loads, with the tube. Sold it and got a Marlin. Easier to load and shoots as well.

Got to the range yesterday to get the scope sited in, took about 30 times but this is what I got at 25 yards with only hand holding the rifle. Would’ve done more but had the mother of all jams in the feed tube that took 30 minutes to clear.

Congrats! I have always wanted one, I am waiting to find a color case hardened one with an octagonal barrel in 357 which are due out any time now.
