Tanning Salon Employee Ends Robbery Spree by Pulling Gun on Suspect

A tanning salon employee ended a robbery spree on Friday after pulling a handgun on the suspect as he tried to rob her store.

At the tail end of a robbery spree one suspect in Dayton, Ohio found himself on the wrong end of a gun. At Bobby Hoblit’s Sundeck Tanning Salon the robber demanded the cashier, who also happens to be Hoblit’s girlfriend, give him all of the money in the register. That’s when she pulled the subcompact Colt handgun from below the counter and pointed at him.

    Mmmm, Colt Mustang...

Pretty gutsy pulling a gun on somebody that's already got theirs pointing at you. I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

Article said she pointed gun at his face and said "Your not getting this money today"

If scumbag already has a gun on me, the next sound he would hear wouldn't be my voice if my gun was pointed at him.

Nothing in the article says the robber was armed.

Looking in to it, he makes a small purchase and when the register is open says "give me the money, I don't want any trouble."

Good for her! After all what's this world coming to if a robber can't go about his business unaccosted? It's enough to make a guy look for another line of work! :dunno: :D

I read the whole article and left it thinking he had a gun? I went back and read it again and you are correct.

I was trying to figure out where I went wrong. Then I saw GFGT's post before mine.
I jumped on the he's got a gun bandwagon.
