OK, I'll try here- John Deere 325, can I use an X300 blade?

I posted this over at a tractor forum (infidelity!), but nothing yet. However, INGO is always good for self-proclaimed experts (myself included). Here's my question.

I have a JD 325. Older, but a good runner and a sound tractor. My father-in-law has an X300 and has recently decided that he no longer wants to use the snow plow and he is giving it to me. He is sending all the brackets, mounts, chains and weights as well.

My question- will I be able to use the X300 blade on my 325? I am willing to make some modifications if necessary, but if a torch or forge would be involved, I'd just as soon trade it on something that is built to fit the 325.

Anyone familiar enough with both to know? I will be picking up the plow next week, so I guess I'll see for myself then, but any experience would be appreciated.
