My vote goes towards rotating and rezero'ing, and saving for an aimpoint. Brightness issues might have to be a problem till then...

+1. I did this when I first mounted my Strikefire. Works wonderfully. You really have to think though when adjusting it...

Get an Aimpoint T1 in a Larue and don't look back.

+1 for turning it on and changing the batteries once a year.
+1 for durability. No matter if it is in a rack or in your trunk, gear takes a beating. On a patrol rifle, the next time you get it out, your or someone else's life may depend on that optic. An extra $300 is cheap for a rifle you'll have for years and trust your life to.

Yeah I am definetly going to be going with a T-1 for my patrol rifle. Unfortunately I do not have it yet. My current rifle is just my plinker/ last choice HD option. I'm probably just gonna sell the optic and go with a good set of irons from now on.

So it looks like I win!

I guess so, When I read this line

"The combo comes complete with Aimpoint PRO package (complete with OEM mount), Aimpoint Mount or LaRue QD Mount, mounting screws with wrench, QD adjustment wrench, vial of blue Loctite and Instructions."

I took it as you had the option of picking your mount, but didnt see the drop down window prices.
