    State public ranges are a good place to practice situational awareness for a number of reasons.

    Attempted murderings would not be something I anticipated as I loaded my stuff in from the parking lot, though.

    ERIE, Pa. – Two men were taking turns firing a weapon at a gun range on state game lands in Greene Township, Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon when one of the men turned on the other and began firing at him.

    A man in a neighboring shooting stall then fired his weapon at the shooter in an apparent move to stop the attack, killing the shooter, Pennsylvania State Police investigators said.

    I believe he was talking about the "friend" that turned around and was trying to shoot his friend.
