I believe my oldest is this Marlin Model 80 with detachable 7-round magazine. Have never fired it. Someone gave me this rifle, and although I have a very vague recollection of them giving it to me, for the life of me I can not remember who or when, and shame on me for that. I'm pretty sure that it was between 1989 and 1999 when I lived in my previous house, but I am not even positive about that. I really wish I had made a record of this gift, its really in great condition for its age. The Model 80 was made from 1934 to 1939.

I have my granddad's 410, not sure how old it is though. I'll guess it was made in the early to mid 1930s. It's my favorite gun for sentimental reasons, if I can only carry one gun out of the burning house it's this one.

My great grandfathers western field 20 ga double barrel. From my research and all its basically a Springfield 5000 made from 1920 to 1931. Now my neighbor has an old musket I believe. He found inside a tree while he was chopping down that dates to the late 1700's

I was going to post about my 1938 and 1937 Mosin Nagants, but I figured there were many others listed here that were older.

However, this past Monday, July 1st, I became the owner of an 1895 Chilean Mauser 7mm.

Tuesday I did some research on the puter and found out this rifle was actually built in 1895! The serial number is B2xxx, and according to what I read, this was in the third 10K rifle batch built.

Don't have any pictures yet, but I will put one up at a later time.

I can't think off the top of my head what year it is... 1848 or 1851... Anyways, it's a Springfield .58 caliber. Everything is tight and in very good shape.

Of course I can't figure out how to post pics or I could show you.

My oldest is a Hamilton No.27 boys rifle made in 1907. It is an early model with the stampings of the later model, difference being the early models have a brass lined barrel where later models have a steel lined one.

Didn't we do one of these threads recently?

    Either:
Spencer rifle (original metal, possibly issued to the 72nd Indiana Mounted Infantry), late 1862.

Sharps & Hankins Navy Model carbine, all original, possibly 1862 also.
Both chambered in No. 56 Spencer rimfire.
