    Someone posted that in a thread the other day, and I've been drooling since. Seems like there is enough demand for these that someone could find a way to import them. Without a doubt, a real SVD is my grail rifle.

    Knowing I'll NEVER afford an SVD, I'm content in drooling over VEPR 7.62x54r's!

    As rare as real svds are, it is worth that. If you must have an svd.

    for that price you can have five scoped m14 clones that shoot just as well

    Had a chance to swap my SVD Tiger and $5,000.00 for another "KDI 100" about 3 years ago, I passed on it and it sold for $10,200.00 on Gunbroker.

    And yes i do still regret not buying it!
